Yesterday, March 18, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) posted on it official Twitter handle photos of arrested thugs in military uniforms.  The party claimed that the thugs, who were allegedly apprehended at Emohua area of the state, work for the All Progressives Congress chieftain, Chidi Lloyd. In a swift reaction, Azubiuke Wanjoku, the APC chieftain in Ikwerre local government area of the state, said that the allegation of the PDP is a mere defense of what Governor Wike and his party are doing.

He expressed assurance that the people of the state would not listen to the governor, adding that the killing of APC supporters in Rivers would not deterred the people of the state not to vote for APC candidates.
