President Buhari receives Equatorial Guinea minister in Aso Rock

President Buhari receives Foreign Affairs Minister of Equatorial Guinea, H.E. Agapito Mba Mokuy in statehouse
President Muhammadu Buhari has called on African leaders to work harder to ensure social justice for all their citizens.


Buhari said governments should be responsible for the security of their countries.
Speaking on Monday, April 25, when he received Agapito Mba Mokuy, the foreign minister of Equatorial Guinea, Buhari said African heads of government must be allowed to discharge their responsibility for peace and security within their countries, without external interference. 

Buhari called on African leaders work harder to ensure social justice for all their citizens 
This was contained in a statement issued by Garba Shehu, the senior special assistant on media and publicity.

“Governments should be responsible for the security of their countries. Burundi must therefore ensure social justice for all of its people so as not to disappoint Africa in the eyes of the world,” the statement read.

Buhari receives Foreign Affairs Minister of Equatorial Guinea 
Buhari told the minister who was in Abuja as a special envoy of President Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, that Nigeria will also welcome more cooperation with Equatorial Guinea and other members of the Gulf of Guinea Commission to curb piracy and enhance security in the gulf.
