Woman Stabs boy repeatedly to death over pasta

The Culprit- Maxine Benson
Maxine Benson, a 33-year-old mother of two, was jailed for 23 and a half years for repeatedly piercing a sharp knife into 18-year-old Alfie Stone’s chest.

An ordinary row about food turned into a tragedy after Benson accused Alfie and his brother Jake of stealing her pasta from the kitchen at a block of bedsits.
The Victim- Alfie Stone
The young man tried to protect himself with an advertising board but an improvised shield failed to save his life. Surprisingly, but Benson was the first who rushed to give Alfie first aid but then fled the scene.

She handed herself in to police two days after the killing. The senseless incident took place in Ickenham, London, England, on November 9 last year.

She has 17 convictions for 33 previous offences, including robbery, possession of an offensive weapon and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

During her trial Benson repented and in a statement to the judge said: “I want to say how devastated I am for the Stone family. I don’t want you to have mercy on me. I feel I deserve to be dead. I see Alfie’s mum every day in court, I see the heartbreak in her eyes and know what it’s like to lose a child.”

Benson’s instigators, Steven Hawgood and his girlfriend Corinne Cripps, who encouraged the woman to stab the boy, were cleared of murder.
