APC Chieftains Urges senate president Saraki to resign

Following controversies of Senate president, Bukola Saraki’s trail, he has been advised to throw in the towel in the wake of his trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT).

According to Nigerian Bulletin, this call was made by Bayo Orire, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti state on Tuesday, May 3.

In his address to newsmen in the Governor Ayodele Fayose-led state, Orire said: “Saraki should humbly resign if he is not shameless.

“Some people mentioned in the Panama Papers scam have resigned. He should resign.”

Speaking further, he lamented that the environment in Ekiti had become hostile for investors due to the “bad attitude of the governor” as he showered encomium on Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the national leader of the APC, for liberating the south west from political bondage.
