Kenya Police beat protesting citizens to stupor over election reforms in Nairobi

Kenyan police pounced on some civilians who engaged in a protest in Nairobi yesterday May 16th. The Kenyans were protesting for election reforms ahead of the country's presidential election to hold next year. The police officers were photographed brutalizing the protesters with batons and also amade used of tear gas on them. The unfortunate incident took place outside the headquarters of Kenyan's electoral commission. See more photos after the cut:
