Uruguayan and Barcelona footballer 'Suarez' congratulates formal club 'Liverpool FC' teammates for moving to finals

Barcelona striker Luis Suarez congratulated his former Liverpool team-mates after they secured their spot in the Europa League final. 

Liverpool are through to the Europa League final. Jurgen Klopp’s men defeated Villarreal 3 – 0 at Anfield to knockout the Spanish side 3 – 1 on aggregates.

An own goal by Bruno Soriano in the 7th minute put the Reds in charge of the game as the English premier League side settled early into the fixture. Both teams went into the break with the hosts leading 1 – 0. The visitors continued to search for the very crucial away goal but lost concentration as Daniel Sturridge made it two for Liverpool in the 63rd minute. Adam Lallana completed the rout in the 81st minute to complete the humiliation as Liverpool won 3 – 0 (3 – 1 on aggregates) 

And Suarez, who was signed by Barca from Liverpool in 2014, congratulated Liverpool via twitter: “Congratulations to all at LFC for moving to the final!! Congratulations friends!!”.
